The Future

It is evident in all cases (that I have heard of) asperger/autistic adults who have children always have asperger/autistic children. Even those who have NT children also have at least one child or two who is asperger/autistic. This condition is gauranteed to pass down the generations every time. You only need to take a look around and you can see.

I often think this could be a stage in the evolution of humankind. If you read my discussion "Waiting For The Children To Grow Up". In about ten to fifteen years from mow there will be a massive explosion of young adults who are asperger/autistic. There will be far too many for governments and society as a whole to ignore. Society with all it's ignorance and intolerence and unwillingness to accept people who are "different" will HAVE TO learn to treat the likes uf us a equals. There are disabilty laws now, which will go in our favour. The unwritten rules of social norms which are not laws of any government, not rules and regulations of any commttee or board of officials, just the crap the "little people" expect everyone else to follow will be seriously challenged. this "unwritten social norms" days are numbered. Yes, about 10-15 years I give it.

One day we will be EQUALS, but first, we will have to wait for the children to grow-up.
