On DELPHI,
you can find forums on many topics and even set up a forum of your own. If you want your own forum, here is a little advice. Take a good look around first and see what there allready is on your topic,
because there can me many forums on pretty much the same thing and therefore unnattended. With ASPERGER/AUTISTIC WORKERS, I filled in a "needs gap" of the working adult asperger/autistic people not having anything more specific to meet their need.
You will find that the majority of talk on the asperger/autistic forums are mainly parents with children who have the condition. This is because of the fact that about 95% of officially recognised asperger/autistic people are young children.
There are many people on these forums who would be very pleased to hear from you and would make you welcome. All of us in this world can learn a lot from each other.
KICK THE CRAP OUT OF CHRISTMAS!!!
Are you sick of christmas in October? I certaily am. It would be a good idea in the next few weeks, pettitions were set up in your towns and cities by collecting signatures in public squares.
The pettitions can be lobbied to the local councils to introduces a new by-law stopping christmas decorations being put up and christmas music being played in the shops and around the towns too early.
We are sick of seeing christmas festivity as early as October and even September. There should not be Santa grottos open in November. We should only have all these trees, decorations, carols, santas and dinners afrter 1st Decenber and not before.
We should enjoy christmas instead of getting fedup with the sight of it before November of finished. This would help to ease to burden that parents and relatives suffer from the demands of childen sreaming "IWANT, IWANT, IWANT!".
If christmas
is thrusted in front of the childrens' eyes too early, this gives much longer time for children to nag thier poor parents. No wonder it is the worst time of years for stress and family rows.
